About Us

Yellowstone Recreations Foundation Mission: Provide safe, affordable & educational winter recreation opportunities that enhance the quality of life & promote economic development throughout Wyoming's Big Horn Basin and South Central Montana.

The Foundation was created to improve and reopen the Sleeping Giant Ski Area. In a few short years, Sleeping Giant Recreational Area has become an economical, family, recreation destination that promotes alpine skiing, Nordic skiing, snowshoeing, and many other winter recreational activities.
