Seasonal Custodian Positions

Yellowstone National Park is looking for seasonal custodial workers.

Expectations
• You will perform a full range of custodial work including:
cleaning and servicing vault toilets, buildings, and
campgrounds, and emptying trash receptacles.
• You will operate a government vehicle to perform assigned
work and may provide general labor assistance to others in
the maintenance of buildings, grounds, roads, trails, etc.
• You will interact with visitors as a uniformed employee and
must be able to respond politely and professionally.

Required skills
• Work safely, positively, and effectively in a team environment
• Practice effective communication
• Work outdoors in inclement weather
• Reliable and self-motivated

Details
• Starting salary $21.24/hour
• Many locations throughout the park
• Open to U.S. citizens 18 years and older
• Season is April–October, start and end dates are flexible
• Federal background investigation is required
• Housing is available in most locations
