Serenity Pregnancy Resource Center Open House

Serenity Pregnancy Resource Center just purchased a new ultrasound machine, and we would like to host an open house ribbon cutting to announce this to the community and businesses, and of course, thank our donors.

Serenity offers free pregnancy tests, free limited obstetrical ultrasounds, resource counseling (assistance with resources for food, housing, healthcare coverage, childcare and more) and free brand- new baby and maternity items through our Earn While You Learn Program.  As individuals register to take part in individual parenting education classes, they earn tangible items such as car seats, pack and plays, swings, clothes, diapers, and high chairs.  The individual education classes and support provided through Serenity is available to anyone! From prenatal to post-partum, toddlerhood, and through childhood, we are here to help!

In 2024, we have performed over 300 free ultrasounds between our Powell and Cody locations...over $80,000 in value.  With a limited obstetrical ultrasound, we are able to provide the mother with information about dating of the pregnancy, placement (making sure the pregnancy is placed in the uterus), and measure the baby's heart rate.
