8:00am–5:00pm Buffalo Bill Art Show & Sale – Artworks Exhibition. Open to the public at the Buffalo Bill Center of the West.

 

9:30am–1:30pm Buffalo Bill Art Show & Sale – Colorful Canvases with Laurie Lee, Buffalo Bill Art Show Artist. A Wyoming native, Lee’s western themed works are largely inspired by everyday life out west, and her love for people and big personalities. This is an exclusive opportunity to learn the ins and outs of a Quick Draw piece. The class fee includes instruction, materials, light breakfast, and lunch. Class will be held at the Cody Country Art League Classroom. Cost $140, limited class size. Reservations required.

 

10:00am – 9:00pm Round Town Event: Cody Art Show at the Irma – Free to the public. View art by the Cody Art Show’s list of artists. Artist demonstrations will take place at various times throughout the event. Located at The Irma Hotel 1192 Sheridan Ave.

 

11:00am – 3:00pm Round Town Event: Poulsen Studios – Free to the public. M.C. Poulsen’s “Yellowstone Waterfall Project” progresses to new paintings, sketches and backcountry adventures. Come watch a painting demonstration and visit with the artist. Located at 2319 Larkspur Court.  

 

12:30pm – 2:00pm Buffalo Bill Art Show & Sale – Lunch & Lecture Wyoming Women in the Visual Arts – Unplugged. In honor of the Year of Wyoming Woman, hear four inspirational women discuss their personal experiences and professional roles in the western art world. Speakers include Ann Simpson, Karen McWhorter, Neltje, and Lindsay Linton Buk. Cost $50, limited spaces available. Reservations required.

 

2:00pm – 6:00pm By Western Hands – Sawdust, Saddles, and Sips. Take a ride through the workshops of Arrowleaf Designs, Norseman Designs West, Santos Fine Furniture, and Seidel’s Saddlery in a stretch limousine. Reservation fee includes champagne, snacks, luxury transportation to and from By Western Hands and to each workshop along the way.  Cost $150 per person, up to 10 participants. Reservations required.

 

6:00pm – 8:00pm The Artwalk on Sheridan – Downtown Cody. Take a stroll on Sheridan Avenue through downtown Cody for our annual Art Walk. Participating businesses include Big Horn Galleries, By Western Hands, Cody Country Art League, Legends Bookstore, North Mountain Gallery, O'Donnell Gallery, Open Range Images, Simpson Gallagher Gallery, Timmer Gallery and Yellowstone Impressions. Free to public. Complimentary downtown shuttle; stops include Center of the West, By Western Hands and Bob Moore Parking Lot behind Bell Plaza.
