QuickBooks for Small Businesses
Desktop QuickBooks for business. (This is not Online QuickBooks) Advantages, limitations…. You will learn how to Set up a new company and establish some bookkeeping rules - what to keep copies of, how long, backing up your QuickBooks file each time, how to set up a coherent chart of accounts and how to use it. Learn how to produce QuickBooks reports and how to use them to manage your business better.
We will also discuss how to set up vendors and print checks, how to record and pay bills, how to record income , and how to set up clients, bill them out and collect payments. Learn to manage accounts receivable, to record and reconcile credit card accounts, and to reconcile your bank statements. We’ll talk about using bank feed and it’s limitations. And finally, learn how to understand Journal entries and year end reports
A QuickBooks manual will be required - You will be given the link to order the textbook once you are registered.
