Free Genealogy Class at the Library
Interested in researching your family history, but not sure where to start? On May 18th at 6:00 p.m., Betsy Taggart and Larry & Maurine Akin will give an interactive presentation, in Cody Library’s Grizzly Hall, on how to use the free genealogy website FamilySearch. Attendees will learn how to look up generations of their family members, view the records on each family member’s profile, and add their own findings to the FamilySearch database. All attendees should bring along a laptop, phone, or other device that can access the internet, so they can follow along.
