Free Concert at the Library
New York City-based string duo Julia and Josh Henderson will present an exciting afternoon of duo repertoire at the Cody Library. The program will feature Zoltán Kodály’s famous Duo for Violin and Cello, Reena Esmail’s Nadiya, and works from composers Erwin Schulhoff, Cara Haxo, as well as original compositions by the performers. Julia Henderson is an accomplished cellist who has performed at prestigious venues like Carnegie Hall and with esteemed orchestras including the New Haven Symphony. Josh Henderson is a versatile violinist and composer with a broad career spanning classical, jazz, and other genres, performing with artists such as Michael Bublé and Solange. Together, the duo will bring an eclectic and dynamic musical experience to the library stage.
