Speaker Dr. Anthony Caragiulo, Assistant Director of Genomic Operations at the Sackler Institute for Comparative Genomics at the American Museum of Natural History, presents Back to the Future: Leveraging Museum Collections in Contemporary Studies. Caragiulo discusses the varying use of collections in his research to address the population genetics of mountain lions, the potential hybridization of New York City coyotes with domestic dogs, and his experiences aiding anthropological and art collections to identify the biological origins of their pieces.
