Did you know that January is National Blood Donor Month? Since 1970, January has served as National Blood Donor Month to help increase blood and donations during winter months. During this chilly season, donations drop dramatically while trauma and the need for blood rises. Blood donors play a vital role in ensuring blood is available when a patient needs it.
