RMDT's 23rd Annual Nutcracker Ballet

Join us for a LIVE full length Nutcracker Ballet set to Tchaikovsky's famous score. Choreography, sets, and lighting are all original, led by professionals in their field. Along with a cast of more than one hundred dancers and children from our local community and surrounding areas, RMDT is proud to announce the return of Randy Pacheco and Sasha Vincett as this season’s guest artists. Soloists with Ballet Arizona, they will perform the roles of Sugar Plum and Cavalier in this 23rd annual production produced by Rocky Mountain Dance Theatre.

RMDT's production of the Nutcracker brings the classic Nutcracker tale to life. It is a magical night about an enchanted Christmas Party where Clara is the guest of honor. After the party, the audience is witness to Clara's vivid dreams about her Nutcracker who comes to her rescue and then brings her to a magical land of dancing snowflakes and sugar treats.

RMDT is glad that we can continue to move forward with live audience performances at the Wynona Thompson Auditorium. As you can imagine, due to COVID, we must adhere to certain stipulations, which means a few changes for this season. Please read them HERE
